Re-entrant: Sailor Logistics Service Care (LDV)

What you will do

As a purser, you are responsible for the buffet in the restaurant, keeping the restaurant clean, and assisting in the kitchen. As a cook, you prepare meals (mise-en-place) and assist in setting up food components. You also perform general tasks (such as cleaning) within the galley and bakery. Are you good at calculations and planning? Then you can advance to the position of supply officer.

In addition to your technical tasks on board, you are of course also a soldier and have tasks associated with that. As an LDV member, you are part of the Medical Action Service (MAD) and assist the nurse on board. This means that during exercises and emergencies, you help care for the wounded, but also that you have to lift stretchers with wounded.

• Salary: your gross base salary, through allowances and our travel expenses, pension, and health insurance schemes, and a 13th month, will result in a pleasant surprise net.
• One-time re-hiring bonus of €2,500 net after 1 year if you have been in service for at least 2 years previously.

Where you will work

You will work again within the Logistics Service on board a navy ship. The main location is Den Helder. You will participate in exercises and must take into account that you may be deployed.
