Forklift Driver / Order Picker

Do you enjoy working independently and like to know exactly what needs to be arranged by the end of your shift? In this role, you ensure that production has the right materials on time every day.

Using a forklift and reach truck, you will retrieve profiles from storage, prepare orders for the next production day, and step in when production needs materials unexpectedly. You usually work independently, giving you a lot of responsibility for your own tasks.

You will work in a profile warehouse where large containers of material are stored. Based on what production needs, you will gather and move the correct profiles.

During a workday:

• you retrieve profiles from storage using a forklift or reach truck;

• you prepare materials for the next day's production;

• you fill and empty storage containers;

• you load and unload trucks;

• you immediately handle urgent requests from production;

• you monitor the waste disposal area;

• you process emails and information on the computer.

You work independently most of the time. Sometimes you will work with one colleague. Does production suddenly submit an urgent request? Then you determine what is needed and ensure the material is in the right place as quickly as possible.

You will be working at a production company where various profiles are processed daily. The materials needed for production are prepared from the profile warehouse. Good logistical preparation is therefore important: if the correct profiles are not ready on time, the production process can be delayed.

• a valid forklift certificate;

• experience driving a forklift and/or reach truck;

• you can speak and understand English;

• you can work with a computer and email;

• you are physically capable of moving materials and performing tasks in the warehouse.

Because you work alone a lot, it is important that you can plan and carry out your tasks independently.

• € 15 to € 16 gross per hour;

• a full-time job;

• fixed working hours from 07:00 to 16:00;
