Hedging Specialist for Critical Raw Materials (m/w/d)

Our partner is an internationally active company in the field of circular economy and resource management. The company is looking for a Hedging Specialist (m/w/d) for critical raw materials, who not only masters classic risk management but also actively shapes the future of our hedging strategies through the use of artificial intelligence.

Aufgaben

• Strategieaufbau: You conceptualize, build on, and develop continuously a robust hedging strategy for critical raw materials further.
• KI-Pionierarbeit: You act as a professional sparring partner in the development and implementation of an innovative AI agent model for optimizing and automating our hedging transactions.
• Risiko-Monitoring: You monitor continuously our exposures, conduct fundamental scenario analyses, and assess market risks on global raw material markets.
• Schnittstellen- & Partnermanagement: In close cooperation with the procurement and finance departments, you identify and maintain strategic relationships to hedging partners such as banks and brokers.
• Controlling & Reporting: You create decision-making bases for management and integrate the hedging result seamlessly into our financial controlling.

Qualifikation

• Fundierte Basis: A successfully completed degree in economics, finance, economic mathematics or a comparable field of study.
• Fachexpertise & Börsenwissen: Several years of experience in the field of hedging, financial risk management or commodity trading. Ideally, you understand the mechanisms of financial and raw material markets through direct trading with derivatives, futures or options.
• Tech- & KI-Affinität: A deep understanding of data structures and a great interest in working at the interface between finance and IT/data science.
• Digitale Fitness: You master MS Office applications, work comfortably with Google Workspace, and bring verifiable German and English language skills.
• Persönlichkeit: You convince through developed analytical skills, strategic foresight, and an agile hands-on mentality when building new structures.
