Heavy Machinery Operator
Job description
Description of the post Relevant to Production Manager, the Heavy Machinery Operator will be responsible for transferring materials in order to transform organic residues provided by the City of Montreal into high-quality compost. Main responsibilities: Safely operate a front-end loader on wheels (LIEBHERR L546Z or similar); Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of his equipment as recommended by the manufacturer, as well as monitoring and controlling the transfer process; Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards; Participate in quality control and continuous improvement initiatives; Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals; Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials transferred; Report any incidents or malfunctions to supervisor.
