Heavy Fabrication Apprenticeship (Porirua)

New Zealand needs to build a skilled workforce and ATNZ are currently looking for mechanically minded individuals who want to start a career in Heavy Fabrication. We are recruiting Heavy Fabrication apprentices for our host company located in Porirua, Wellington . If successful you will be employed by ATNZ and assigned to this host company where you will receive training and support to become a qualified Heavy Fabrication tradesperson. This apprenticeship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a real-world environment. You will be working alongside experienced fabricators and learning from them. This apprenticeship is a 3-year program, and you will be required to work 40 hours per week, with some flexibility to work overtime. You will also be required to attend block training sessions, which will be held at our training facility. As part of this apprenticeship, you will be required to complete a nationally recognized qualification in Heavy Fabrication.
