Heavy Equipment Service Technician

Job Description Based out of our Matamata branch and reporting to the Service Manager, this role focuses on the assembly and preparation of new heavy equipment builds and pre-delivery inspections. You’ll be responsible for ensuring machines are built exactly as specified, fully tested, and handed over in top condition. Key responsibilities include: Assembling and preparing new equipment to manufacturer and customer specifications Installing hydraulic attachments, including pressure setting and testing Preparing and conducting pre-delivery inspections to ensure all equipment is in good working order Conducting quality control checks on all equipment before delivery Maintaining accurate records of work completed and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures Collaborating with the Service Manager to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment, so you should be comfortable with change and able to adapt quickly.
