Heavy Duty Mechanic. Description Working closely with the Fleet/Equipment Manager, the Heavy Duty Mobile Mechanic performs duties and tasks related to the preventative and corrective maintenance of a variety of construction equipment and vehicles. The ideal candidate loves working with their hands, takes pride in their work and likes the challenge of figuring out how to make things work. What you will be doing: Performs preventative and corrective maintenance by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and vehicles. Conducts routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition. Utilizes technical knowledge and experience to identify and address equipment issues. Collaborates with the Fleet/Equipment Manager to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks.
