Position Details: Position: Full-Time Security Guard Site: Digby General Hospital Hours: Continental Rotation - 0800-2000/2000-0800 Payrate: $20.50 About the Role Paladin Security is hiring a dedicated Healthcare Security Officer to join our team at Digby General Hospital. You’ll play a vital role in protecting patients, staff, and visitors while ensuring a safe and secure healthcare environment for the community. Key Responsibilities: Protecting patients, staff, and visitors by ensuring a safe and secure environment; Conducting regular security patrols and monitoring CCTV cameras; Responding to incidents and emergencies; Maintaining accurate records of incidents and security breaches; Collaborating with hospital staff to ensure a smooth and secure environment; Providing excellent customer service to patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years of security experience; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Strong communication and problem-solving skills; Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays; Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; Ability to pass a background check.
