Health Care Aide - Meadow Ridge Seniors Village

JOB TITLE: Health Care Aide Site: Meadow Ridge Seniors Village FTE: 0.70 - Various Positions Hours of Work - 0700-1500, 1500-2300, 2300-0700 Rotation - 7 shifts in 14 days REPORTS TO: Nurse JOB SUMMARY: The Health Care Aide (HCA) is a valued interdisciplinary team member. Under the direction of the Nurse, the HCA assists Residents with the activities of daily living to address personal, social, physical, and recreational needs. Performs all duties in a safe, caring manner according to Residents' individualized care plans. Provides assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility as required. Assists with mealtime routines, including feeding, hydration, and nutrition. Supports Residents' independence by encouraging self-care and promoting autonomy. Maintains accurate records of Resident interactions, observations, and care provided. Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings to share information and collaborate on care planning. Provides emotional support and companionship to Residents. Performs other related duties as required.
