Headhunting Intern (m/f/d)

Buena (backed by GV) makes everything around real estate as easy and transparent as buying an ETF. Whether searching, buying or financing a flat. We do that by taking over property management companies across Germany and transforming them into technology companies. In the past three years, we have grown from less than 25 full-time employees at HQ to become the third-largest property management company in Germany.

About the Role

We are looking for an intern in the Headhunting department to further develop our competitive advantage in the M&A area. When we take over real estate management companies across Germany, it is crucial to quickly replace existing management with a technology-oriented leadership. Your task is to identify future CEOs, nurture them and win them over for us.

A internship at Buena means full ownership from day one. As the second member of our Headhunting team, you will take responsibility for a portfolio of over 500 employees and executives from the start. You ensure that the right leadership is always available when we take over a company. You work directly with our management team and M&A teams in our Berlin headquarters and make recruiting a central part of our strategy.

Tasks

• You search for and contact CEOs, executives and experienced managers across Germany. 80% of your time consists of active sourcing on LinkedIn, Xing and direct approach.
• You build talent pools for future leadership roles and develop a clear picture of the German market.
• You connect our M&A pipeline with our talent pipeline and ensure that we are always operational-ready after each takeover.
• You hold conversations with senior candidates and convey Buena's vision convincingly and clearly.
• You build systems and structures to make talent visible and available in the long term.

Qualification

• You are a student at a German university or have been one and want to take on at least a six-month full-time internship.
• You speak fluent German as your native language.
• You enjoy direct and equal conversations with CEOs and senior executives.
• You work structured and enjoy analyzing markets and people systematically.
• You use technology to work efficiently, for example CRM tools or AI sourcing.
• You want to work in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg district.
• Strong signal: You have already gained experience in recruiting, executive search, outbound sales or CRM.
