Head Strength & Conditioning Coach – Adams Centre for High Performance
Full Time
Job description
We’re seeking an experienced, values-led Head Strength & Conditioning Coach to lead our high-performance training environment—driving athlete development, coaching standards, and a world-class member experience. Based at the Adams Centre for High Performance in Mount Maunganui, you will lead the Academy programme with a focus on athlete onboarding and retention, programming quality, athlete coaching and engagement and day-to-day operations. You will design and deliver evidence-based, sport-specific, and athlete-centered strength and conditioning programmes that align with our values and goals. This includes developing and implementing training protocols, conducting athlete assessments, and providing coaching and guidance to athletes and coaches. You will also be responsible for managing and leading a team of strength and conditioning coaches, providing mentorship and support, and contributing to the development of our coaching standards and best practices. In addition, you will work closely with our sports science and medicine team to ensure a holistic approach to athlete development and well-being. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of our high-performance strategy and provide input on key initiatives and projects. This is a full-time position, and you will be required to work a standard 40-hour week, with occasional evening and weekend work as required. You will also be expected to travel occasionally for training camps, competitions, and other events. If you are a passionate, values-driven, and experienced strength and conditioning coach who is committed to delivering exceptional results and making a positive impact, we would love to hear from you.
