Head Resource Mobilization and Partnerships

The International Finance Facility for Education (IFFEd) is pioneering innovative finance solutions to transform education outcomes in low and middle-income countries (LMICs). By leveraging sovereign governments, philanthropic partners, and other stakeholders, IFFEd seeks an exceptional Head Resource Mobilization and Partnerships to lead our resource mobilization efforts alongside IFFEd's CEO. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to secure funding from a diverse range of sources, including sovereign governments, foundations, corporations, and high-net-worth individuals. This role requires strong relationships-building skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing resource mobilization strategies to secure funding from a diverse range of sources. • Building and maintaining relationships with sovereign governments, philanthropic partners, and other stakeholders. • Identifying and pursuing new funding opportunities, including partnerships with foundations, corporations, and high-net-worth individuals. • Collaborating with IFFEd's CEO to develop and implement overall organizational strategies. • Providing expert advice on resource mobilization and partnership-building to the IFFEd team. • Monitoring and reporting on progress towards resource mobilization targets. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as international development, finance, or business administration. • At least 5 years of experience in resource mobilization, fundraising, or partnership-building, preferably in the education sector. • Proven track record of securing funding from sovereign governments, foundations, corporations, and high-net-worth individuals. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines. • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other languages is an asset.
