Head of Workplace Projects & Facilities Management

The Ministry of Manpower in Singapore is seeking a candidate to oversee workplace management, including facilities and project management. Responsibilities include leading teams, ensuring project compliance, and collaborating with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of project management experience in public sector projects and a strong background in architecture or engineering. Successful applicants will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They should also be able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. In addition, they must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks accordingly. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of workplace management principles and practices, as well as experience with project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 or Agile. They should also be familiar with relevant laws and regulations in Singapore, including the Workplace Safety and Health Act.
