Head of Treasury

We're Hiring - Head Treasury Experience: 18–22 Years | Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru | Qualification: CA We are seeking an experienced Head – Treasury to lead the overall treasury function, including International Treasury, for a leading premium Retail brand. This is a strategic leadership role reporting to the Head – Corporate Finance, responsible for driving liquidity management, forex strategy, fund optimization, and risk governance at an enterprise level. The eventual growth path for the position includes opportunities to develop and implement innovative treasury strategies that drive business value, while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing a comprehensive treasury strategy aligned with the company's overall financial goals and objectives. • Leading and managing a high-performing treasury team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring as needed. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective liquidity management, foreign exchange risk management, and fund optimization. • Identifying and mitigating potential risks and opportunities in the treasury function, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, finance teams, and external partners. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure the treasury function remains effective and efficient. The ideal candidate will have: • 18-22 years of experience in a treasury or related role, preferably in a retail or consumer goods company. • A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent. • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities. • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. • A deep understanding of treasury best practices, regulatory requirements, and industry trends. • Ability to work effectively in a global organization, with experience working across cultures and time zones.
