Job Title: Head of Treasury & Bookkeeping - Reporting to Group Head of Finance Position Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Treasury & Bookkeeping. We are an insurance company that operates in both the non-life and life insurance space. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to treasury management, cash flow analysis, financial reporting, and bookkeeping. This position requires exceptional skills in accounting principles, financial regulations, and risk management. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and products. Additionally, the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders, and maintain confidentiality is essential. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement treasury strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives. • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and funding requirements to ensure optimal financial performance. • Oversee financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal policies. • Collaborate with other departments to identify and mitigate financial risks. • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, investors, and regulators. • Provide expert advice on financial matters to senior management and the board of directors. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. • At least 5 years of experience in treasury management, finance, or accounting. • Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and products. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. • Certification in a relevant field (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is an asset.
