About the Company
Our client is one of the market leaders in the field of security technology and has been repeatedly awarded as one of Germany's best employers. On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Head of Technical Operations & Sales (m/f/d). The team to be led consists of 10 team members whose professional backgrounds range from IT, electrical engineering, and system electronics. In this role, you should have several years of professional experience in both technical and disciplinary leadership. The technical focus areas are security infrastructure, networks, firewalls, and video surveillance systems.
Area of Responsibility
Technical and disciplinary leadership of a technical team in the field of IT infrastructure and security technology
Planning, control, and coordination of IT projects as well as responsibility for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of technical surveillance systems
Continuous development of team structures and personnel capacities in line with project and business development
Preparation and calculation of technical offers as well as conducting customer negotiations, taking into account economic and business objectives
Ensuring the smooth operation of complex IT infrastructures, particularly in the areas of network, IT security, server landscapes, virtualization, and data storage
Responsibility for the operation and further development of modern technical security and surveillance solutions
Conducting regular team meetings, prioritizing ongoing tasks, and coordinating operational workflows
Participation in medium- and long-term budget and resource planning
Candidate Profile
Completed technical training in the IT field or a corresponding technical degree or equivalent qualification
Several years of experience in the technical and disciplinary leadership of technical teams, ideally in the field of IT and security technology
Sound practical experience in the operation and administration of modern IT infrastructures and security environments
Good knowledge in the field of network and firewall technologies as well as relevant experience with common manufacturers and solutions
Experience with server technologies, virtualization, and storage systems
Knowledge in the field of technical surveillance and security systems advantageous
Experience in preparing offers, technical calculations, and in a sales environment
Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as a confident and professional demeanor
Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
Strong technical understanding, sense of responsibility, and interest in innovative IT and security solutions
