Head of Tax | Cape Town

Our Client is a growing and dynamic accounting firm in South Africa, dedicated to providing exceptional accounting, tax, and advisory services. As they continue to expand their capabilities, they are seeking a visionary and experienced Head of Tax to lead and grow their tax department, ensure world-class compliance, and establish a dedicated Family Office. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. The role will involve developing and implementing tax strategies, managing a team of tax professionals, and ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. The successful candidate will be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) or equivalent, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a senior tax role. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of tax technology and be able to leverage this to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
