Head of Software Architecture & Platform Modernization

SCIENTE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Head of Software Engineering to oversee the design, implementation, and delivery of applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in system architecture and enterprise governance, as well as a strong background in developing large, scalable applications using cloud technologies. Responsibilities include leading project engineering strategies, establishing architecture policies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams; Developing and maintaining software engineering processes and standards; Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and prioritize software development projects; Providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members; Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies; Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures; Managing budgets and resources for software development projects; Coordinating with other departments to ensure alignment of software engineering efforts with overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, at least 8 years of experience in software engineering, and strong knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and cloud-native applications.
