Head of Security & Compliance (GRC) (m/w/d)

We are looking for an experienced Head of Security & Compliance (GRC) (m/w/d). In this strategically important leadership role, you will be responsible for global information security and governance, risk, and compliance topics. You will lead three teams with a total of around 40 employees and work closely with the C-Level management.

Tasks

• You are responsible for the strategic development and direction of the global Security- and Compliance-organization
• The Information Security Management System (ISMS) as well as company-wide risk management lie within your area of responsibility
• In this role, you will lead three teams with a total of around 40 employees
• You will work closely together with the Executive Management on strategic Security topics and report regularly at C-Level
• You will steer international Security initiatives while simultaneously coordinating incident- and crisis management processes
• You will take sole responsibility for certifications and audits, including ISO 2700x, TISAX, and VDA ISA
• You will represent the company as a central point of contact to customers, partners, authorities, and external stakeholders in all matters related to Security & Compliance
• You will continuously develop processes, structures, and services in the area of Governance, Risk & Compliance and drive their optimization actively forward

Qualification

• You hold a completed degree in (Business-) Informatics or a comparable qualification
• You bring ideal experience from an international industrial environment in the field of Information Security, IT Governance, or GRC with several years of disciplinary and professional leadership experience
• You are already familiar with leading larger teams and complex organizational structures
• You have in-depth knowledge of modern IT security standards and corresponding technologies
• You have successfully collected experience in ISMS, risk analyses, incident management, and Security audits
• You possess a confident demeanor on Executive- and C-Level
• You combine strategic thinking with high implementation strength and hands-on mentality
