Head of SAP Applications (m/w/d)

Location: Nuernberg (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to take on the overall responsibility for SAP applications.

Tasks

• Responsibility for setting up and further developing the SAP strategy, including target image, architecture, and governance
• Pioneer for continuous optimization of existing SAP system landscape
• Ensuring a stable and performing operation of SAP applications, as well as initiating improvement measures
• Overall responsibility for planning, controlling, and implementing demanding ERP initiatives
• Guiding external partners and service providers, ensuring efficient cooperation
• Closely coordinating with departments and decision-makers to translate requirements into sustainable solutions
• Fostering and developing the responsible teams – both professionally and disciplinarily

Qualification

• In-depth understanding of SAP architecture, as well as comprehensive knowledge about multiple modules and business processes
• Demonstrated leadership experience with a focus on motivation, development, and binding employees
• Fundamental experience in SAP customization, as well as conceptual and technical implementation of complex requirements
• SUCCESSFUL LEADERSHIP OF LARGE-SCALE SAP PROGRAMS OR PROJECTS, ideally in international contexts
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• High communication competence, empathy, and confident appearance towards different stakeholders
• Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
