Head of SAP EWM & Supply Chain Systems

Dis-Chem Pharmacies require a Head of SAP EWM & Supply Chain Systems to be based at our head office in Midrand. The purpose of the role is to design and implement SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions, ensuring seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, and related supply chain platforms. The role balances strategic architecture with hands-on support, leading the supply chain support function to resolve issues, deliver enhancements, and respond to business needs efficiently. By contributing to the development of a robust and scalable supply chain system, you will be instrumental in driving business growth and improving operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include: • Designing and implementing SAP EWM solutions that meet business requirements; • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and prioritize supply chain process improvements; • Developing and maintaining relationships with internal customers to ensure effective communication and issue resolution; • Providing hands-on support for supply chain systems, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues; • Staying up-to-date with the latest SAP EWM and S/4HANA developments and best practices; • Mentoring and guiding team members to achieve their full potential; • Participating in cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, logistics, supply chain management); • Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP EWM implementation, configuration, or support; • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA and Fiori platforms; • Experience with supply chain systems, including warehouse management, transportation management, and inventory management; • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities; • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
