Head of Quality (m/f/d) - Permanent Direct Hire with Client

For an internationally successful company, we are looking for an experienced leader to head the Quality Assurance and Quality Management department with leadership responsibility. Location: Southern Germany.

Responsibilities

• Technical and organizational leadership of the Quality Assurance and Quality Control department
• Coordination of all activities to ensure product and process quality
• Leading, motivating, and developing the QA team
• Monitoring and continuous improvement of quality standards and testing processes
• Analysis of quality metrics and derivation of suitable optimization measures
• Conducting and supporting internal and external audits
• Collaboration with suppliers regarding quality notifications and supplier evaluations
• Conducting supplier audits and providing support on quality-related topics
• Creation and maintenance of inspection plans, testing processes, and quality documentation
• Close collaboration with adjacent departments such as production, development, and purchasing

Qualifications

• Completed technical degree or technical training with relevant further education (e.g., Master Craftsman or Technician)
• Several years of professional experience in quality management within a manufacturing company
• Experience in leading a team in a quality environment
• Knowledge of common quality management systems and standards according to DIN EN ISO 13485
• Experience in dealing with suppliers and in conducting audits
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Structured, diligent, and solution-oriented way of working
• Team player with strong communication skills
