Head of Quality Automotive (m/w/d)

With almost two decades of experience, the company develops and manufactures control units as well as lighting solutions for renowned premium manufacturers, special series, and motorcycle manufacturers. About 130 employees work at several locations – the headquarters is located in the Munich metropolitan area, supplemented by a production site in the region and another branch office in Southern Europe. Your Role

This position is not just an administrative task – you take on a central key role at the production site and shape structures, processes, and decisions along the entire value chain actively.

Tasks

• Führung und Weiterentwicklung der Qualitätsorganisation am Standort – mit Fokus auf Effizienz, Wirksamkeit und Zukunftsfähigkeit
• Verantwortung für die Qualitätssicherung im Produktionswerk mit dem Ziel, die Ausbringungsqualität nachhaltig zu steigern
• Aktives Vorantreiben der kontinuierlichen Verbesserung bei Produkt-, Prozess- und Lieferantenqualität durch datenbasierte Analysen und wirksame Maßnahmen
• Steuerung von Lieferanten- und Kundenqualität, Reklamationsmanagement sowie Mitwirkung bei Bemusterungen und FMEA
• Konzeption und Bewertung aussagekräftiger Qualitätskennzahlen und Reports als Entscheidungsgrundlage für Management und Fachbereiche
• Unterstützung bei der Weiterentwicklung des Integrierten Managementsystems (IMS) sowie der operativen Umsetzung relevanter Normen

Qualification

• Technical study (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Technology) or comparable qualification
• Multiple years of leadership experience in quality management of an automotive production environment – ideally Tier-1 or OEM-near
• Fundamental practice in production-related QM methods: APQP, PPAP/PPF, Reklamationsmanagement, Requalifizierungen, Lieferantenqualität
• Good understanding of production processes, ideally in the field of electronic systems and components
• Outstanding data and key figure competence to steer quality and improvement measures
• Communication skills on all levels – from shop floor to management level
• Eigenverantwortliche, lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise in einem dynamischen Umfeld
• Travel readiness (approx. 10%, national and international)
• Verhandlungssicheres Deutsch und sehr gute Englischkenntnisse
