Head of Purchasing

We are looking for a Head of Purchasing to be inserted within the Purchasing team at our Trieste office. The figure will have a key role in ensuring the efficiency of the supply chain, coordinating the purchasing and planning materials team, ensuring material availability and contributing to continuous process improvement. What will you be responsible for? Coordinating and supervising the purchasing and planning materials team, defining priorities and objectives, developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, monitoring and controlling inventory levels, optimizing logistics and transportation processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, identifying and mitigating risks, and contributing to the development of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business Administration or related field, at least 5 years of experience in purchasing and supply chain management, excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of procurement software and systems, and certification in procurement or logistics.
