Head of Project Management – ECI Projects
Location: Romania
Job Type: Full-time
Field: EPC – electrical installations & renewable energy
Position Description
ECI Projects, an EPC company specializing in electrical installations and renewable energy projects (photovoltaic farms, MT/IT electrical substations, BESS systems, SCADA), is seeking a Head of Project Management to strategically and operationally coordinate the company's project portfolio.
The role involves leading the Project Management department and direct responsibility for delivering projects on time, within budget, and according to contractual and technical requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Leads and develops the ECI Projects team of Project Managers
- Coordinates the EPC project portfolio (photovoltaic, electrical substations, BESS, SCADA)
- Ensures project execution planning, monitoring, and control
- Monitors project budgets, schedules, and performance indicators
- Coordinates activities with the Technical, Procurement, Execution, Financial, and HSE departments
- Manages project risks and proposes proactive solutions
- Ensures contract compliance and manages relationships with clients, consultants, and authorities
- Periodically reports project status to executive management
- Contributes to the optimization of company Project Management processes and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a project management / EPC project coordination position
- Relevant experience in the field of electrical installations and/or renewable energy
- Experience in managing photovoltaic projects, electrical substations, BESS, or SCADA – major advantage
- Higher technical education (Electrical / Energy Engineering)
- Solid leadership and multidisciplinary team coordination skills
- Solid knowledge of planning, cost control, and risk management
- Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making abilities
- Experience with MS Project or other similar tools
- English language – advanced level
