The energy transition requires robust, innovative, and secure High-Voltage Systems.

As one of the leading experts in this field, our client is looking for a visionary and experienced Head of Project Engineering.

Tasks

• Shape instead of just manage: You will take over the technical and budgetary overall responsibility for our internal and external engineering services in the field of high-voltage cable systems.
• From concept to reality: You define the design standards of the future and develop clever, well-thought-out concepts for the transport, laying, and installation of high-voltage technology (including secondary systems).
• Design smart solutions: You are the hub for technical inquiries. You translate complex specifications into optimal, customer-specific system solutions, where costs, benefits, and risks are in perfect balance.
• Hands-on leadership: You lead a small, highly qualified expert team. You stay close to the action – whether it's the further development of internal engineering software, daily operations, or as a technical sparring partner for sales and project management directly at the customer's site.

Qualification

• Academic depth: A successfully completed master's degree (Master/Diplom) in electrical engineering or a comparable field.
• Fundamental track record: 5 to 10 years of professional experience in engineering, paired with verifiable successes in leading technical projects. If you have already gained experience with high-voltage projects and installations, that's a significant advantage.
• Maker mentality: You don't shy away from diving into calculations and feasibility studies yourself. Ideally, you've already demonstrated your goal-oriented, result-oriented, and problem-solving approach in a first leadership role.
• Communication strength: You move confidently on all hierarchical levels and convince internal and external stakeholders. We expect fluent German and English skills in writing and speaking.
