Head of Product - Platforms

Role Overview The Head of Product, Platform will lead the Platform tribe at Kuda, overseeing Core Banking, Payments & Cards, and Internal Tooling. This tribe powers the reliability, scalability, and compliance of Kuda's infrastructure—enabling all product tribes to deliver customer-facing innovation. You will own the tribe's strategy, roadmap, and delivery, ensuring that platform investments translate into measurable business efficiency, regulatory readiness, and improved delivery velocity across the entire engineering organization. Responsibilities * Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Platform tribe, aligning with Kuda's overall business goals. * Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers, providing guidance and support to ensure their success. * Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize platform needs and opportunities. * Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Kuda's platform, including its architecture, components, and dependencies. * Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of platform initiatives. * Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing platform enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and security. * Ensure the platform meets all regulatory requirements and compliance standards. * Communicate platform strategy, roadmap, and progress to stakeholders across the organization. * Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to platform technologies and product management. * Manage the platform product budget. Requirements * 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years focused on platform products. * Proven experience leading and scaling product teams. * Deep understanding of platform architecture, infrastructure, and technologies. * Experience with Core Banking, Payments, and Card processing. * Experience working in a regulated industry, such as financial services. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams. * Experience managing budgets and making data-driven decisions. * Experience with Agile development methodologies.
