Your Mission at us

• Engineering Organisation new set up and scale: You take over overall responsibility for three engineering teams and an infrastructure team, restructure organisation, roles, and collaboration anew and build structures that can scale with our growth.
• Product Team lead: You lead our Product- und UI/UX-Team, develop product strategy and roadmap together with the management further and ensure that key topics are implemented at the right time - with the clear goal of driving measurable product growth.
• Product & Engineering connect: You integrate product management and development into a common delivery process with clear priorities, roadmaps, and responsibilities.
• Delivery speed up: Your most important success metric is the delivery speed of our teams. You identify bottlenecks, establish efficient planning, release, and delivery processes and increase output measurably and sustainably.
• Technical decisions accompany: Together with our Tech Leads, you make informed decisions about architecture, scaling, and tech debt and create a foundation for sustainable growth.
• Organisation further develop: You are responsible for hiring, budgeting, and prioritizing for Product and Engineering and build an organisation that remains performance-capable even with further growth.
• Management & Stakeholder engage: You create transparency about delivery, progress, and priorities and are a sparring partner for management, Tech Leads, and Product Team.

What you should bring

• Multiple leadership experience: You have already successfully led several product- und engineering teams and developed organisations further.
• Experience in setting up scalable Engineering Organisations: You have improved delivery processes, created structures, and increased the output of development teams measurably.
• Tech understanding at eye level: You can discuss technical decisions with Tech Leads, understand architecture, scaling, and technical trade-offs, and enjoy the acceptance of your engineering teams as a result.
• Product mindset: You understand how good product development works and bring experience in setting up digital products or platforms.
• Hands-on mentality: You approach topics pragmatically, take responsibility, and feel comfortable both in operational daily business and on management level.
• Strong Stakeholder management: You communicate safely with management, product, engineering, and other departments and create it to bring together different interests.
• Experience in scale-up environment: You work gladly in dynamic companies with short decision-making paths and enjoy shaping organisations actively.
• Plus points: Your own developer background, experience with engineering metrics like DORA or Cycle Time, and knowledge of platform-, SaaS- or E-commerce environments.
