Our Team:

Our Energy Team combines technical expertise with deep market understanding. The Energy Trading department is responsible for optimizing our assets across all markets, balancing renewable energies, and self-handling. We trade short-term electricity algorithmically in a growing geographic scope and have a highly qualified team of experienced software developers, leading AI experts, and energy trading experts.

We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial-minded person who can build and lead the Power Operations department at Terra One.

Your Tasks:

Operational Management

• Steering of balance sheet management and scheduling management
• Ensuring smooth market communication processes
• Participation in the Virtual Power Plant

Direct Marketing:

• Operative implementation of direct marketing for solar power plants
• BUILDING AND MAINTAINING CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS
• Responsibility for customer communication and customer care
• Participation in building a customer platform for direct marketing
• Responsibility for billing processes

Economy & Performance:

• P&L responsibility for the solar portfolio
• Supporting optimization of marketing and revenue strategies

Projects & Innovation:

• Development of co-location projects (solar + battery)
• Integration and connection of battery storage systems
• Preliminary qualification of batteries in various regulatory zones

Interfaces & Cooperation:

• Zentral interface function between internal teams
• Support for the accounting department in process understanding and billing topics

What we expect from you:

Qualifications:

• Degree in the field of energy economics, business administration, or a comparable field
• Experience in direct marketing, balance sheet management, or energy trading
• Knowledge of regulatory framework conditions in the German energy market (EEG, market communication, grid energy)
• Safe handling of MS Office and energy-related software solutions
• Very good German language skills in writing and speaking; English language skills are an advantage
