Head of Operations (w/m/d)

Our client is a successful, family-owned production company in the technical environment with international orientation. As part of an organizational further development, the Operations department will be strategically reoriented. In order to sustainably stabilize and develop the value chain, we are looking for an experienced leadership personality. Head of Operations (w/m/d) with focus on strategic procurement from 100,000 euros annual gross salary As Head of Operations you will be responsible for the following tasks: • Development and implementation of a comprehensive procurement strategy • Management of the procurement process, including tendering, contract negotiations and contract management • Coordination of the logistics and supply chain processes • Development and implementation of a quality management system • Monitoring and evaluation of key performance indicators (KPIs) • Collaboration with other departments to ensure smooth operations • Identification and realization of optimization potential in the value chain. The ideal candidate should have: • University degree in business administration, engineering or a related field • At least 5 years of experience in procurement or logistics • Proven track record in developing and implementing procurement strategies • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office.
