Head of Operations

Lead operations for a fast-growing, export-driven manufacturer.

We’re representing a New Zealand-based company in the natural health and nutrition sector that is entering a major growth phase.

With revenue expected to rise significantly in the coming years, they are seeking a Head of Operations to lead operations and ensure the business scales effectively.


The Opportunity

This is a senior operations role for someone who can balance strategic direction with a visible, hands-on approach in a flat organisational structure.

You’ll take ownership of manufacturing, procurement, and logistics while building the systems and capability needed for growth.

As a member of the leadership team, you’ll help set the course for the company’s future while delivering strong operational outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead all manufacturing operations.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure raw material supply.
• Oversee logistics from sourcing through to international distribution.
• Drive operational efficiency, quality, and compliance.
• Mentor and develop the production leadership team.
• Contribute to strategic planning as part of the leadership team.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience leading operations across manufacturing, procurement, and logistics, in food, beverage, or natural product sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver growth and operational improvements.
• A leadership style that combines hands-on involvement with empowering others.
• Strength in navigating supply chains, compliance, and export logistics.
• Commitment to a long-term role, contributing to the company’s sustained success.
