Head Of Operations - FMCG Food

As a Head of Operations, be part of the leadership team of a leading FMCG food business and shape its Warehouse, Transport & Purchasing operations. Our client is a well-established player in the foods space, supplying to leading restaurants, hotels, and retail partners across Singapore. As part of their next phase of growth, they are looking for a Head of Operations to take ownership of critical business functions that oversee a team of 60 staff across 3 key functions. What you’ll drive: End-to-end responsibility for Warehouse operations, including inventory management, logistics, and supply chain optimization; Transport operations, encompassing fleet management, route planning, and delivery scheduling; Purchasing operations, covering procurement, contract negotiation, and vendor management. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability; Lead and manage a team of 60 staff across Warehouse, Transport & Purchasing operations; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of operations; Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce costs; Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal partners. What we’re looking for: Proven track record in a similar leadership role, preferably in the FMCG or logistics industry; Strong understanding of warehouse management systems, transportation management systems, and procurement systems; Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines; Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
