Your Mission

In this role, you have the strategic and operational responsibility for our entire newsletter portfolio. You will develop our newsletters as products - with a clear positioning, a well-thought-out structure and measurable performance. You combine product thinking, growth mechanisms and operational excellence into a scalable system.

Tasks

• Product responsibility & further development of our newsletter portfolio.
• Definition of clear value propositions and target group logics and building a consistent product architecture.
• Close cooperation with the editorial team to ensure relevance and quality.
• Development and implementation of a growth roadmap along the user journey.
• Optimization of signup funnels and distribution logics and reduction of engagement churn.
• Definition of a clear KPI framework for growth, engagement and monetization.
• Building transparent reporting structures in cooperation with IT.
• Analysis and interpretation of performance data to derive concrete measures.
• Standardization and digitalization of newsletter workflows (briefing, creation, QA, sending, reporting).
• Further development of our newsletter advertising formats (sponsoring, native, dedicated sends).
• Support the sales team with clear inventory and performance logic.
• Meaningful integration of AI tools to support structure, variant formation and quality assurance as well as the development of clear guidelines for responsible AI use.

Qualification

• Several years of experience in the areas of newsletters, CRM, digital publishing or audience development.
• Strong product and user thinking - you understand newsletters as independent media products.
• Experience in growth mechanisms, funnel logic and KPI management.
• Confident handling of performance data and segmentation.
• Experience with classic ESP systems and their possibilities and limitations.
• Ability to bring together editorial, technical and commercial requirements.
• Structured, self-reliant way of working in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Practical experience in the use of AI tools in an editorial context.

Nice to have

• Experience in the financial or B2B media environment.
• Experience with marketing automation or CRM systems.
