Head of Maintenance | Luxury Villa | Greater Kruger Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and proactive Head of Maintenance for an exclusive luxury villa in the Greater Kruger region. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional with a strong technical background and a hands-on approach. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations, ensuring the property, facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include: • Overseeing and coordinating all maintenance activities, including routine inspections, repairs and maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipment. • Developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies and plans to ensure the continued operation of the luxury villa. • Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and standards. • Managing and supervising a team of maintenance staff, including apprentices and contractors. • Coordinating and managing external contractors and suppliers. • Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, invoices and inventory management. • Providing exceptional customer service to guests and clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. • Collaborating with other departments, such as housekeeping, security and hospitality, to ensure seamless operations. Requirements: • 5+ years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role. • Strong technical background and hands-on approach to maintenance and repair work. • Proven track record of successfully managing and supervising a team of maintenance staff. • Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to the luxury villa location.
