ABOUT THE ROLE As a Head of Maintenance at a Barchester care home, you'll make sure we have a clean and well-maintained environment so that residents feel at home and staff can do their jobs well. Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere is part of our commitment to delivering first-class care and support. You can expect plenty of variety as a Head of Maintenance with us. You'll turn your hand to all sorts of tasks within the care home building as well as in the gardens and grounds. That could involve anything from fixing leaky taps to planning and implementing maintenance projects, ensuring that our facilities are always clean, safe and well-maintained. You'll also be responsible for managing a small team of maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to help them do their jobs effectively.
