Our next step: The strategic build-up of a BESS department (Battery Energy Storage Systems), to jointly develop storage capacity for a stable, decentralized energy system with farmers and energy suppliers. That's why we're looking for you.

Your Mission

You will build the area for battery storage solutions (BESS) from scratch - strategically, technically, and operationally. Together with the founding team, you will develop scalable models for storage projects on agricultural land.

Your Tasks

• Strategy: Development of the BESS vision & roadmap in close coordination with founders and investors
• Business Development: Identification and evaluation of suitable locations, partnerships with manufacturers, aggregators, and direct marketers
• Project development: Technical and economic feasibility studies, integration with Agri-PV and VPP
• Regulatory & Market Analysis: Observation of relevant laws, funding programs, and tenders (e.g. §14a EnWG, storage in EEG, energy market 2.0)
• Team building: Selection and leadership of an interdisciplinary team from technology, operations, and finance
• Communication: Internal sparring partner for management & external interface to authorities, network operators, and investors

Your Profile

• Experience in setting up energy storage projects
• In-depth knowledge of the BESS area, electricity market design, flexibility marketing, and grid topics
• Entrepreneurial mindset and strong implementation power
• Understanding of technical planning, project development, and regulatory requirements
• Communication strength in German & English
• Hands-on mentality and enthusiasm to build a new business field in a startup
