Job description
Job Description
As the Head of Learning & Product Expansion (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the strategic further development and scaling of our learning portfolio and our processes in the German-speaking market. You will combine market and product perspectives, empower our learning organization in Germany, and ensure that our AI, data, and engineering programs grow as productized services that are scalable, compliant, and commercially successful.
You are joining Stackfuel and Multiverse at a crucial phase of their growth story. You are inspired by the vision of being part of a European scale-up while simultaneously having the opportunity to shape the future of learning within the network. You don't just think of learning as content and curricula, but as a product that can scale, open up new markets, and adapt to regulatory frameworks. Topics such as product-market fit, the boundaries of where education and technology can transform real-world further education, and finding and nurturing the right talents in your team drive you.
Focus Areas of Your Role:
Product & Portfolio Strategy (DACH & Europe)
Responsibility for the German-speaking learning portfolio and the roadmap with a clear focus on market needs and excellent learner experiences
Collaboration with other leaders to research and recommend learning strategies that optimally leverage government-funded and commercial go-to-market channels
Close collaboration with internal and external experts to design programs that are simultaneously compliant, attractive, and economically viable
Empowering your team to analyze new opportunities in AI, data, and engineering and translate them into programs with robust business cases – you will also be hands-on with key clients yourself
Establishing data-driven routines to monitor product quality during scaling and to manage the prioritization of maintenance and further development
AI-Native Learning & Automation Strategies
Development and optimization of an AI-supported content production pipeline in collaboration with experts in the Multiverse network and your team (e.g., agents, automated workflows, AI-based analytics)
Utilizing data, KPIs, and automation tools to manage portfolio performance, program quality, and scalability
Actively exploring new forms of dynamic, AI-native learning experiences together with the UK Learning team and local experts
Team Building & Scalable Delivery
Interface between Learning and other departments: sharing important updates, escalating risks, and fostering a culture of collaboration throughout the company
Recruitment, onboarding, and disciplinary management of team members, including leaders
Guiding the team through growth and change and establishing a culture that lives our Operating Principles
Promoting an "AI-first" culture where automation is used to create capacity for more complex tasks
Managing flexible resources (e.g., content partnerships or freelancers) to selectively support expertise and delivery
Scaling & Internationalization of Our Learning Products
Localization and adaptation of successful UK programs for the DACH market and other regions (language, regulation, target groups, pricing)
Development and further enhancement of a scalable "Education-as-a-Service" offering, including programs, platform (LXP), and services
Co-responsibility for go-to-market strategies of new offerings and segments together with Product, Product Marketing, and Sales
Building effective networks with UK and European partners to share German best practices and incorporate insights from other countries
What You Bring
Several years of experience in product strategy, program/portfolio management, or venture/business building – ideally in EdTech, SaaS, or another technology-driven environment
Proven responsibility for portfolios or product roadmaps, including budgeting, resource planning, and scaling
High affinity for technology and experience with AI, data, or digital platform products – you don't need to code yourself, but you can quickly understand complex solutions
Experience in market entry and commercialization of new offerings (new countries, segments, or business models)
Familiarity with regulated educational environments (e.g., government-funded training, accreditations) or highly regulated industries (banking, healthcare, etc.)
Leadership experience in dynamic, fast-growing organizations and a track record in building and managing cross-functional teams as well as external partners
Proficient in using data, KPIs, and AI/automation tools to manage portfolio performance, utilization, and product quality
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills – you are as comfortable conversing with CTOs, CAIOs, HR/L&D leaders as you are with internal teams
Fluent German and very good English skills
