Head of Jewellery Design and Development (m/w/d) in the Wedding & Jewelry Department

Tasks

• Creative Leadership & Design Responsibility
  You will take over the leadership of the design team and develop new, inspiring jewelry pieces – with a special focus on engagement & wedding rings
• Collections & Brand Presence further developed
  You will develop strategic collections that reflect our brand identity and touch the hearts of our customers – emotionally, high-quality, and up-to-date
• Technical Implementation
  You master CAD tools like Rhino and MatrixGold sovereignly, train the team, and ensure a high-quality implementation. Depending on the project, you will perform CAD work yourself or coordinate until the finished prototype
• Trend Orientation & Market Sense
  You analyze market trends and competitors continuously and lead concrete impulses for new product concepts and design themes from them
• Content & Visual Storytelling
  You develop creative concepts for product shootings and work with marketing on a harmonious, visual staging of our products – online and offline
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  You will work closely with Marketing, E-Commerce, and Production to integrate design, brand, and sales strategy into a strong overall presence

Qualification

• Completed studies in the field of Design, Product Development, Jewelry Design or equivalent qualification
• At least 5 years of experience in product design, preferably in the jewelry or luxury segment
• Fundamental knowledge of CAD programs (especially Rhino and Matrix Gold)
• Experience in collection development and market analysis
• Creative vision and strategic thinking with a clear focus on brand building and positioning
• Experience in planning and conducting product shootings and creating visual content
• Very good knowledge of collaboration with marketing teams and steering cross-media campaigns
• High communication skills in German and English
• Passion for jewelry and design, paired with a well-developed sense of trends and innovations
