Head of IT Europe (m/w/d)

We, the MetPro Group, are an international manufacturer and specialist for innovative solutions in the field of corrosion protection packaging. For more than 40 years, renowned companies from various industries worldwide have trusted our expertise and reliability.

In Germany, we employ around 70 employees. In addition, we have locations in France, Romania, and Ireland, with our European headquarters located in Ireland. As part of the American Transcendia Group, we are focusing on further sustainable growth and continuous development of our structures and processes.

To strengthen and strategically develop our corporate IT, we are looking for a leadership figure to oversee and future-orientally direct our IT landscape in Europe. You will combine strategic guidance with operational proximity and drive the international introduction of SAP Business One as well as the digitalization and standardization of our business processes forward.

Aufgaben

Why You're Right Here

You will take responsibility for a rapidly developing IT landscape – international, cloud-based, and strategic. At the same time, you will be close to the operational proceedings and actively shape them. You will lead a small team and are simultaneously closely involved in the topics.

Your Tasks

- Overall responsibility for IT in Europe
- Leadership of an currently small but powerful IT team
- Operational support for the team in daily business as well as strategic development of IT
- Guidance of international SAP Business One rollouts
- Development of cloud and infrastructure topics
- Ensuring IT security and system stability
- Close cooperation with departments and international locations
- Guidance of external service providers and projects

Qualification

- Several years of experience in the IT field with leadership experience
- Experience in leading small teams or in a key role
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP Business One
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and IT infrastructure
- Strategic thinking and hands-on mentality
- Very good German and English skills
- Willingness to occasional business trips within Europe
