Head of IT & Digitalization (m/f) | World Market Leader

A traditional, internationally active industrial company with several production and sales locations is looking for an experienced, strategically thinking and at the same time hands-on acting leadership personality for the overall management of IT in the Greater Salzburg area as part of an organizational development.

Your tasks:

• Overall responsibility for the IT organization at several European locations
• Management and further development of the areas of infrastructure, applications, service & support as well as IT service management
• Management of external IT service providers and responsibility for budget and resources
• Further development of IT processes according to ITIL/ITSM standards and ensuring high service quality
• Responsibility for a stable, secure IT operation as well as an active role in innovation and digitalization initiatives
• Participation in the implementation of information security and compliance requirements (e.g. ISO 27001, NIS2)
• Close coordination with management and central company functions
• Interface with specialist departments as well as technical development areas

Requirements

Your qualifications:

• Completed studies in IT or business informatics or comparable qualification
• Several years of management experience in an IT organization, ideally in an industrial environment
• Very good understanding of modern IT service management methods (ITIL/ITSM)
• Experience with process optimization, IT security and compliance standards
• High social competence, assertiveness and hands-on mentality
• Willingness to travel within the group of companies
• Very good German and English language skills
