Head of Injection Molding Department

Responsibilities:

1. Production management.
2. Ensure TRG, rebutures, terms and costs are met.
3. Analyze production deviations (stops, defects, failures) and implement corrective measures.
4. Optimize changeover times (SMED).

Quality and continuous improvement:

• Guarantee product conformity (0 defects to client).
• Configure and monitor production standards (job cards, operational methods).
• Implement actions to reduce waste (under established objectives).
• Participate in Lean / 5S / Kaizen / FMEA projects.

Management and human resources:

• Coordinate a team of technicians and injection operators.
• Instruct, develop skills and support employee versatility.
• Manage schedules, absences, integrations and annual evaluations.
• Promote a safety-oriented culture.

Maintenance and industrialization:

• Ensure equipment availability (injection presses, peripherals, molds).
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance plans with the service department.
• Contribute to the industrialization of new tools, robots and injection presses in collaboration with central services.
• Increase productivity and improve direct labor utilization.

Safety and environment:

• Respect HSE rules (safety, environment, ergonomics).
• Organize safety audits and maintain 5S standards in the workshop.
• Identify and eliminate hazardous situations (incidents, near-misses at the limit)

Key performance indicators:

• TRG / TRS injection.
• Rejection rate (
• Timely delivery (related to injection).
• Number of accidents and incidents avoided.
• Operator versatility rate.
