Head of HR & People Strategy

A leading recruitment agency in South Africa is seeking a seasoned HR Executive to lead their human resources initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or a related field with extensive experience, including a minimum of 10 years in HR and at least 5 years in leadership roles. Responsibilities include overseeing compliance with labor laws, managing employee relations, and implementing effective HR strategies. Strong skills in recruitment, change management, talent development, and organizational design are essential for this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with the organization’s overall strategy. This includes but is not limited to: • Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with the organization’s overall strategy. • Overseeing compliance with labor laws and ensuring that all HR practices are in line with relevant legislation. • Managing employee relations by providing guidance and support to employees, managers, and other stakeholders. • Implementing effective HR strategies that drive business results and improve organizational performance. • Collaborating with senior management to develop and implement organizational design initiatives that align with the organization’s overall strategy. • Developing and implementing talent development programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge. • Providing expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters to employees, managers, and other stakeholders. • Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, management, customers, and suppliers. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements in the HR field.
