Hire Resolve are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our client as the Head of Human Resources in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the HR function within our organization. Responsibilities Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business objectives of the company. Lead and manage a team of HR professionals, providing guidance and support as needed. Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring of qualified candidates. Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions. Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations. Develop and administer compensation and benefits programs. Oversee the HR budget and manage HR-related expenses. Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment. Drive and champion HR policies and practices. Collaborate with other departments to ensure HR initiatives are aligned with business needs. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. In-depth knowledge of South African labor laws and regulations. Strong leadership and management skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Ability to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives. Experience in recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and training and development. Ability to manage and motivate a team of HR professionals. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
