Head of Finance (m/w/d)

SPIZZA is a Fast-Casual-Premium-Pizza concept by chef Tim Raue for the Travel-Retail market. We operate modern pizza stores at train stations and airports, combining culinary standards with clearly structured, scalable processes. We are growing and developing a brand that stands for quality, reliability, and entrepreneurial spirit.

We are looking for a Finance Manager (m/w/d) to build and manage our finance department, taking operational and strategic responsibility.

Tasks

• You will build our finance department structured and develop a scalable financial and controlling setup for stores and head office.
• You will be responsible for liquidity planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• You will develop meaningful reports for management and investors.
• You will analyze store KPIs and lead joint economic measures with operations together.
• You will support preliminary financial accounting (creditors, debtors, asset accounts) and steer cooperation with tax consultants and external partners.
• You will be responsible for payment processing, cash and bank controls, and debt collection.
• You will ensure transparent, efficient, and sustainable financial processes.
• You will recognize economic risks early on and develop practical solutions.

Qualification

• You bring several years of experience in the finance, controlling, or accounting field.
• You have ideally experience in the gastronomy and/or building or professionalizing financial structures.
• You think analytically and strategically and work structured.
• You work independently, take initiative, and maintain an overview even during growth phases.
• You combine numerical understanding with operational thinking.
• You communicate clearly and confidently with management and external partners.
• You have very good German language skills; English language skills are advantageous.
• You bring a pragmatic hands-on mentality and sense of responsibility.
