About the Role

As Head of Finance (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the finance department at both the Kaiseraugst and Altendorf locations. You will work closely with local management, ensuring transparency, consistent financial processes, and reliable reporting.

You will lead the Accounting and Controlling departments and be in regular contact with local management teams and the Coesia Headquarter. Furthermore, you will actively shape the further development of the finance organization at both locations.

The focus of the position is in Kaiseraugst (approx. 80%), with regular presence in Altendorf (approx. 20%). Travel between the two locations is an integral part of the role.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the entire financial reporting, including actual figures, forecasts, and budget planning

• Leadership and further development of the Accounting and Controlling departments

• Harmonization of the two different ERP system landscapes at the locations

• Design, implementation, and continuous optimization of financial processes and internal controls

• Establishment and further development of transparent reporting structures and relevant KPIs

• Coordination of monthly and annual financial statements

• Responsibility for cash flow reporting, liquidity monitoring, and financial planning

• Close collaboration with local management and the Coesia Headquarter on financial and strategic issues

• Ensuring compliance with internal policies, financial standards, and reporting requirements

What You Bring

• Several years of experience as a Finance Manager, Head of Finance, or in a comparable leadership position in the finance department

• Sound knowledge in Accounting and Controlling

• Experience in the areas of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

• Experience in leading teams in the areas of Finance, Accounting, or Controlling

• Professional experience in Switzerland and good knowledge of Swiss accounting standards

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, ideally in mechanical engineering, automation technology, or project-oriented business

• Strong hands-on mentality and the ability to build, standardize, and continuously develop structures and processes

• Experience in an international corporate environment and in collaborating with central group functions

• Fluent English language skills

• Good German language skills

• Enjoyment of a dynamic work environment with a high degree of personal responsibility and scope for action
