Job description
Reality Germany is a Berlin-based real estate investment and asset management company with a focus on commercial real estate across Germany. As part of the REALITY Group, we create long-term value through strategic investments, active asset management, and a collegial, entrepreneurial culture.
Responsibilities
- Management of the financial processes of several real estate funds and separate accounts
- Responsibility for NAV calculations, capital account statements, distribution waterfalls, and fee calculations
- Management of quarterly and annual fund reporting, including performance metrics and IRR modeling
- Support in the financial settlement of acquisitions and disposals and their integration into fund reporting
- Coordination of audits, valuations, and tax returns with external service providers
- Responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning of the GP company and the management company
- Ensuring compliance with internal financial policies, internal control systems, and legal requirements
- Monitoring of working capital, cash flows, financing, and treasury
- Creation of high-quality reporting packages and dashboards for investors (LPs) and management
- Further development of financial systems, processes, and technologies to improve transparency and accuracy
- Leadership and development of the Finance team (Fund Accountants, Controllers, Analysts)
- Driving continuous improvements and providing support for fundraising, capital allocation, and ESG reporting
- Close collaboration with Asset Management and Investments to optimize fund performance
Qualifications
- At least 7 years of professional experience in finance or accounting within private equity or investment management, ideally in the real estate sector
- In-depth expertise in fund accounting, consolidation, IFRS/GAAP, and real estate financial modeling
- Experience in investor reporting, managing audits, and working with fund administrators
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Qualification as a CPA, CA, CFA, or an MBA is a big plus
- A strategically thinking and hands-on leader who is comfortable in a growth environment
- High integrity, accuracy, entrepreneurial thinking, and a process-oriented approach
- Structured, motivated, and willing to question existing structures and build scalable ones
- Fluent German and very good English skills
