Aufgaben

• Surety of (tax) compliance, as well as coordination of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB for individual companies and the group.
• Further development of budget and financial planning, forecasts, and internal reporting – with a focus on decision-relevant KPIs for management.
• Control of liquidity, working capital, and cash flow as a central lever for our financial stability, as well as coordination of international payment transactions.
• Coordination of lending banks and ongoing monitoring and reporting to ensure compliance with credit obligations and covenants.
• Identification of optimization potential in cost structures and processes – and their consequent implementation.
• Sparring partner for management on strategic decisions: investments and financing.
• Leadership and development of a team of 3-5 employees with clear goals and room for self-responsibility.
• Safe handling of banks, auditors, and tax consultants.

Qualifikation

• A successful degree in business administration with a focus on accounting, finance, and controlling or comparable qualification.
• Multiple years of professional experience in finance and accounting, ideally in the mid-sized company or FMCG/handling environment.
• First leadership experience: you develop teams, not just numbers.
• Analytical strength paired with the ability to clearly and simply communicate complex issues.
• Hands-on mentality: You also take operational action when required by the situation.
• Fundamental knowledge of HGB, taxes, and safe handling of ERP systems and BI tools; affinity for digitalization and process automation.
