Head of Finance m/w/d

Tasks

• Professional and disciplinary leadership of the finance team (4 employees)
• Total responsibility for financial accounting (main and subsidiary books) in a production environment
• Ensuring monthly, quarterly, and annual closing statements according to HGB (IFRS knowledge advantageous)
• Responsibility for controlling with a focus on production and cost control
• Preparation of budgets, forecasts, deviation, and economic analyses
• Analysis of manufacturing costs, inventory evaluations, and margins
• Creation of informative management reports for the executive board
• Closely working with HR, production, procurement
• Monitoring liquidity, cash flow, and cost structures
• Contact person for auditors, tax consultants, and external partners
• Development and optimization of financial and controlling processes
• Supporting the executive board in strategic and operational financial matters (without CFO overall responsibility)

Qualification

• Completed degree in business administration, economics or comparable qualification with a focus on finance, accounting or controlling
• Multiple years of experience in the finance and controlling department, mandatory in a production company
• Fundamental knowledge in production, cost, and investment control
• Very good knowledge in financial accounting according to HGB
• Experience in leading small teams
• Very good English skills in writing and speaking (mandatory)
• Safe handling of ERP systems (e.g. SAP) as well as common reporting tools
• Analytical, structured, and hands-on-oriented working style
• High process understanding and numerical affinity, communication strength
