Your Role

As Head of Finance / Finance Director, you will take overall responsibility for all financial matters in Germany. You will lead and develop the accounting department and ensure that finance not only accompanies operational growth but actively enables it.

The role is deliberately hands-on designed: You work operationally deep enough to understand connections and strategically to shape structures for the future. In close cooperation with management and the international group, you will continuously develop finance further.
There is a clear perspective towards CFO within the group.

Your Contribution in the next 12-24 months

• BUILDING AND SCALING A HIGH-PERFORMANCE FINANCE AND CONTROLLING ORGANIZATION
• CREATING TRANSPARENCY OVER PERFORMANCE, CASH FLOW, AND ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY OF ALL UNITS
• ESTABLISHING AN INTEGRATED REPORTING FOR MANAGEMENT AND INTERNATIONAL STAKEHOLDERS
• FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF BUDGETING, FORECASTING, AND PLANNING PROCESSES
• FINANCIAL ACCOMPANIMENT OF EXPANSION AS WELL AS M&A PROJECTS INCLUDING POST-MERGER INTEGRATION

Your Tasks

• OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT, INCLUDING FINANCE, CONTROLLING, AND PERFORMANCE STEERING
• RESPONSIBILITY FOR BUDGETING, FORECASTING, LIQUIDITY MANAGEMENT, AND FINANCING
• IMPLEMENTATION AND FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF MODERN REPORTING AND CONTROL INSTRUMENTS
• ENSURING HIGH DATA QUALITY AND DECISION-RELEVANCE IN REPORTING
• ACTIONABLE SUPPORT FOR ACQUISITIONS AS WELL AS THE INTEGRATION OF NEW LOCATIONS AND UNITS
• STEERING EXTERNAL PARTNERS LIKE AUDITORS, TAX CONSULTANTS, AND BANKS
• CLOSE COOPERATION WITH OPERATIONAL DEPARTMENTS, MANAGEMENT, AND INTERNATIONAL GROUP FUNCTIONS
• LEADERSHIP, FURTHER DEVELOPMENT, AND SCALING OF THE FINANCE TEAM

Your Profile

• MULTI-YEAR LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE IN FINANCE FUNCTIONS (E.G. HEAD OF FINANCE, FINANCE DIRECTOR, CFO)
• EXPERIENCE IN BUILDING, TRANSFORMING, OR SCALING ORGANIZATIONS
• STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF BUSINESS PARTNERING, PERFORMANCE STEERING, AND FINANCING
• EXPERIENCE IN THE HEALTHCARE SECTOR, PE-OR BUY-&-BUILD ENVIRONMENT FROM AN ADVANTAGE
• ENTERPRISING THINKING, STRUCTURED, DECISIVE, AND PRACTICAL
