Head of Finance & Data (m/f/d)

In this versatile dual role, you combine razor-sharp financial expertise with a real knack for data architecture and reporting infrastructure. You will not only build stable controlling structures but also simultaneously shape the technical foundation on which our entire company makes data-based decisions. In short: You will have our back and actively steer our course to success.

• Creating Structures: You will build robust controlling structures and reports with clear, future-oriented steering logic.
• Finance Under Control: You will take overall responsibility for our financial planning, reporting, and strategic financial management.
• Shaping Data Infrastructure: You will drive the development of our automated data pipelines (including BigQuery, connected to Shopify, Klaviyo, and other sources) and ensure that key figures are reliably, currently, and centrally available.
• Interlinking BI & Controlling: You will further develop our dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Looker Studio) so that finance key figures and operational data converge into a consistent picture.
• Scaling Processes: You will establish efficient, smart processes in the finance and data areas that grow with us.
• Sparring at Eye Level: You will work closely with our CEO and advise him as a valued sparring partner on all strategic finance and data matters.

First things first: Nobody is perfect! If you don't meet every single point 100%, but convince us with your motivation, we still want to get to know you.

• Your Foundation: You have many years of solid experience in finance and a strong background in controlling.
• Your Second Strength: You have already gained several years of experience in building or operating data infrastructure (e.g., data warehouses, ETL pipelines, BI tools) and know what is important for modern, scalable data architecture.
• Your Industry Knowledge: Ideally, you have already worked in the dynamic e-commerce or consumer environment.
• Your Personality: You are characterized by a structured, absolutely reliable, and at the same time pragmatic hands-on mentality.
• Your Mentality: Self-motivation, solution orientation, and the will to learn new things are a matter of course for you.
• Your Language: You communicate confidently and fluently in German (native speaker level).
